This members-only meeting will be held to learn about and reach consensus on the recommendations of the Gun Violence Prevention study team. 

The team's work has been based on Consensus Questions provided by the League of Women Voters of Illinois (LWVIL). It has reviewed 25 questions across multiple topic areas, compiling views for and against adopting the LWVIL proposed recommendations. 

League studies are the process by which League positions are created or updated. After the League undertakes a thorough pursuit of facts and details, recommended position updates are voted on by membership. Your participation is essential to that process. The outcomes of this meeting will be incorporated into the updates to the LWVIL position on gun violence prevention.
 
In preparation for this discussion, members who register will be sent an information packet. Please read that information prior to the meeting.  
 
The program is free and open to members only. The meeting will be held online via Zoom only.

Registration is required by end of day Sunday, 9/21
A few days prior to the meeting, member registrants will receive a Zoom link and information packet by email. Please retain that so you are able to join the online meeting.
