Election Disinformation vs Election Security: What You Can Do

About this event

Come learn with the League! Join us as we get to know our guest, Matt Dietrich, Public Information Officer for the llinois State Board of Elections, and learn about election security, misinformation, and other timely election administration topics.

Are you confused about election security, and the mis-and-disinformation coming at us from all directions? Are you wondering what you can do about the disinformation? Dietrich will present some planned remarks about the security of our elections and what to do about disinformation. We'll have plenty of time for a Q&A exchange in a relaxed setting.

The Florence Fifer Bohrer Award will be presented to a deserving community member who's made a notable contribution to our community. League leaders will highlight issues the local League is working on and share ways to get involved.

You'll have time to see old friends, and make some new ones. There will be social time with light refreshments served. Bring a friend, and share this meeting event page with others.

This event is for league members and the community. There is no fee to attend.

Registration is not required, but an RSVP is requested to help with planning.
