About this event

Join League members for a gathering to socialize and learn together in a casual setting.

Come to the May 6th Drinks and Dialogue where Bloomington Police Chief Jamal Simington will be sharing information about the Illinois Trust Act and how it is implemented by the Bloomington Police Department. In 2017, Illinois enacted the TRUST Act, a measure that limits state and local law enforcement’s participation in federal immigration enforcement.

Social time will be from 5:30 - 6:00, with group conversation beginning at 6:00 PM.

League members and members of the community are welcome.

Reservations are not required, but we appreciate an RSVP to help with planning.

There is no fee to attend, but participants will pay for their own beverages and any food ordered.
