About this event
Update as of 1/23/24 10:15 AM:
This evening's gathering will be held as planned. See you there -- and travel safely!
The League will host a Drinks and Dialogue event featuring discussion of Ranked Choice Voting. This informal gathering continues our exploration of this voting method that began in October with an informational overview meeting.
Ranked Choice Voting is a topic gaining interest for offering voters a number of benefits. This voting method has been adopted in several states and cities, including in Illinois. Could it be helpful to us here in Bloomington/Normal?
There will be no formal presentations, just good conversation and the company of League members and their friends. Drinks and Dialogue events provide an informal setting for people to discuss, share opinions, ask questions, and become more aware of governmental issues.
Missed the October overview meeting? Need a refresher? No worries, here are some resource materials to catch you up.
