This Emmy-nominated feature documentary shows how community connections may help us address our democracy's crisis.

As the film's promotions describe, it is a film "about why you should join a club...and why the fate of America depends on it... It explores three urgent civic questions: What makes democracy work? Why is American democracy in crisis? And, most importantly, what can we do about it?"

Hosted by Not In Our Town and co-sponsored by our League and others. Here is an event flyer to share with your friends.

Get Briefed!
Saturday, April 11

Join the League of Women Voters of Illinois for our annual Issues Briefing on Saturday, April 11. We'll hear from experts on a range of topics, from data centers and State revenue, to election integrity and immigration enforcement. Be informed and prepared so you can advocate for change in your community.

This is a hybrid event—join us in person for idea-sharing, networking, and camaraderie (this year we'll gather at Harper College in Palatine!), or, if you can’t make it, tune in from the comfort of home.

Condolences
