Please join the League of Women Voters for our next community information program as we learn about how recent criminal justice reforms introduced in Illinois are working out.
 
When: Tuesday, March 17, 6:30 PM
Where: Heartland Community College, Community Commons Building room 1406
 
The program, Revisiting Justice: Assessing the Impact of Recent Criminal Law Reforms, will bring us up to date on the latest criminal justice reforms.
 
Guest panelists are expected to discuss the Safe-T Act, which set up cashless bond and more, the new Fair Act, considered a significant reform to Illinois' public defense system, and the Clean Slate Act, which includes provisions for automatic sealing of nonviolent criminal records.
