Today's Most Frequently Asked Question: What is the League Doing?
May 14 Local Action Planning

Many members have asked what actions our local League is taking to push back on what the LWVUS now calls a constitutional crisis. Join us on May 14 to help create the answer!

In a community with multiple groups peacefully protesting the dangerous overreach of the current administration, the League of Women Voters has distinct capabilities to add to this effort. We stand for the right to vote, access to the polls, informed voters, and strong defense of democracy.

But we need your ideas and input on the specific actions we might take in McLean County to express our stand. This is a members-only meeting, and all members are encouraged to join in.

We will meet Wednesday, May 14, 5:30 PM, Bloomington Public Library. Registration is appreciated to help with planning.
