Lobby Day on May 1
 
Local members, Laurie Wollrab and Laurie Bergner, will be driving to Springfield for Lobby Day May 1.  The League of Women Voters of Illinois will be having it at the Illinois State Capitol. All League members are invited. Never lobbied before? No worries, assistance will be provided and you can be partnered with an experienced advocate.

Rapid Response Team Members Wanted
 
The League of Women Voters of Illinois is putting together a Rapid Response Team to provide quick response to Illinois voting issues throughout the election season.

It will help local Leagues identify voter intimidation and learn what to do when we see it. It will also promote local League observation of voting equipment testing and poll watcher training with LWVIL's Voter Service team.
