Primary Elections Today
Illinois Primary Election is today. Polls are open until 7:00 p.m.  Use Vote411 to find your polling place and know your ballot.

Speaking of polling places, residents in West Bloomington's 7th and 12th precincts will now vote at Grossinger Motors Arena because of the vandalism at Mount Pisgah church on March 10.  The Bloomington Election Commission decided to move the polling place for this election.

Residents in precinct 5 and 59 will also vote at Grossinger Motors Arena.

Explore 50 Years of Women's Rights
Learn about 50 years of women's rights on Saturday, March 23 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the McLean County Museum of History.  The Museum and The League of Women Voters of McLean County welcome you to free, interactive programs exploring the last 50 years of women's rights.

Focusing on four categories -- advancements in economic independence, political participation, activism, and education -- presenters will share stories of women from McLean County's past before opening it up for small group discussions facilitated by local leaders who will share their own stories in each of the categories.

The program will begin and end in the Museum's historic courtroom on the second floor. The small group discussion will occur in various locations throughout the building.

The museum will also have a new Rotunda display installation and the exterior building will be lit up in yellow and purple in honor of Women's History Month.

WGLT will be holding a reception from 4 - 5 p.m. for the 21 women who are being highlighted by the station during this month.

Museum Volunteers Needed

League members interested in supporting the McLean County Museum of History can look over the following volunteer opportunities. Contact Colleen Reynolds  for more information.

Visitors Center - Museum Ambassadors are needed to help fill shifts every month at the Museum's Cruisin' with Lincoln on 66 Visitors Center & Gift Shop.

Senior Reminiscence Program - Receive training and visit senior living centers with objects and photos from the education collection to help spur conversation and memories.
