If you are a member, please log in to access additional, potentially lower registration fee options.
About this event
Fifty years after the Roe v Wade decision, women's health and reproductive rights are being challenged. The Dobbs Decision is making this a major issue in the Fall elections. Hear about the "lessons learned" in the last year that may impact the Fall elections and these fundamental rights.
Our guest speaker is Rianne Hawkins, Senior Director, Public Policy and Advocacy for Planned Parenthood of Illinois. In her work, she plans and coordinates efforts to build support for Planned Parenthood and partner initiatives. Since joining Planned Parenthood in 2016, Hawkins has been involved in efforts to pass a number of reproductive health care initiatives; efforts include passage of the Reproductive Health Act in collaboration with the League of Women Voters of Illinois.
Doors open at 6 PM, program begins at 6:30 PM. Coffee and dessert will be served.
The public is invited to join in the conversation.
Registration is requested to help us plan for adequate seating and refreshments.
While
