About this event
People of all ages are invited to this interactive program exploring the last 50 years of women's rights. The League and the McLean County Museum of History are partnering to present this event in honor of Women's History Month.
The program will focus on four categories: advancements in economic independence, political participation, activism, and education.
Presenters will share stories of women from McLean County's past. Local leaders will facilitate small group discussions and share their own stories within these categories.
The event is free and open to the community.
The program begins and ends in the Museum's historic courtroom on the second floor. Small group discussions will occur in various building locations. Due to its interactive nature, the event will not be live-streamed. The Museum is committed to advancing accessibility and equity for all. Please contact the museum by clicking here to learn more about readily available accommodating or to request specific accommodations.
Location and Parking details: The Museum entrance is on Washington Street, on the south side of the building. Public parking in downtown Bloomington is free and unlimited all day Saturdays. To learn more about the Museum of History and to plan your visit, please visit mchistory.org
